ABOUT ME
I have over 25 years of experience in teaching, administration, and athletics at the collegiate and high school levels. I am currently the head softball coach at Frostburg State University, a Division II school in Frostburg, Maryland.
Prior to my time at Frostburg, I served as an assistant softball coach at Division I UMass Lowell (2014-18) and Division I Quinnipiac University (2013-14). I also served as the head softball coach at Division II Wheeling Jesuit University in West Virginia (2008-11).
Prior to my time at Wheeling Jesuit, I was the Athletic Director and Co-Head Softball Coach at Buckeye Trail High School in Ohio. My other coaching experience includes time spent as an assistant coach for both baseball and football at the college level, as well as experience as a strength and conditioning coordinator at the college level. In addition to my coaching experience, I also operate multiple businesses and websites that serve coaches and athletes. I provide career development resources for coaches to help them be more effective at their job and to assist those who are looking to advance their coaching career. I also provide career mentoring to sport coaches at the professional, collegiate, and high school levels.
From an athlete standpoint, I operate my own softball camp company, Maxx Fastpitch. I also operate websites dedicated to skill training and recruiting education for high school athletes who are looking to improve their overall athletic performance or continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level.
